Thank you for shopping at Cubs & Co. Ensuring the privacy and security of your personal information is very important to us. Our privacy policy outlines the information we collect about you when you visit or make a purchase from www.cubsandco.com.au (the “Website”) and how we use this information.

1. What personal data do we collect from you?

During our relationship with you, we may collect personally identifiable information from you, such as your name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, email address, your shopping or browsing behaviours, phone number, credit card or bank details and any other personally identifiable information that you have provided us in any form you may have submitted to us, or in the course of any other forms of interaction between you and us (Personal Data).  Where such information pertains to an identified individual, this Personal Data may also include network and device data such as IP address and device or advertising identifiers and information we obtain using cookies or other tracking technologies.

1. How do we collect your personal data?

We collect Personal Data from you when:

1. You register an account on the Website or otherwise purchase a product on the Website as a guest without registering an account;
2. You subscribe to receiving our online marketing communications;
3. You browse our products and services or otherwise interact with our Website;
4. You accept our cookies and other tracking technologies on your device;
5. You interact with us via email (hello@cubsandco.com.au) or phone;
6. You interact with us on our social media (Instagram, Facebook or Pintrest pages), such as liking our posts, commenting on our posts, private messaging us on our social media;
7. You participate in our promotions and giveaways, initiatives or any request for additional Personal Data such as customer surveys;
8. Your authorised representative submits your Personal Data to us for any purpose reasonably authorised by you, for example if such representative is purchasing our product or service to be delivered to you or as a gift; or
9. You voluntarily submit your Personal Data to us for any other reason.

We do not directly collect your credit card details to process your payment or for customer service purposes.  Your credit card details are collected, processed and stored directly by our third-party payment processor (https://pay.shopify.com/) pursuant to their terms of use and privacy policies.  None of your credit card details are permanently stored with us. However, we may collect your bank account details to process refunds. 

1. How do we use your personal information?

We use Personal Data that we collect from you for the following purposes:

• when you purchase a product via the Website - to fulfil any orders placed through the Website (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we may use this Order Information to communicate with you about your order or our business generally or screen our orders for potential risk or fraud;
• when you opt-in to receiving marketing communications from us - to market our products, business and/or services to you only and for no other purpose. You may unsubscribe from receiving our marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link on our marketing emails or by contacting us at hello@cubsandco.com.au.
• to create and maintain records for our internal accounting and administration purposes; and
• maintaining our relationship with you including responding to any questions/requests or other communications you may have with us.

If you do not provide us with your Personal Data, we may not be able to provide you with these services.

We may share your Personal Data with third parties such as suppliers and service providers who assist us with fulfilling our permitted services to you using your Personal Data as set out in section 3 above.  For example, we use:

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. Further if our business is acquired or merged with another company, your Personal Data may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell our products to you. 

Except as outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by law, we do not give your Personal Data to any third parties unless you have given us your consent.

1. Is my Personal Data secure?

While we take very reasonable steps to keep your Personal Data secure, we can’t give you an absolute guarantee that your information is always secure as no data sent over the internet is 100% secure. We will not be responsible for any liability, loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your information.

When you place an order through the Website, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes will take effect immediately upon their posting on the Website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated.
